A Salt water chlorinator will automatically maintain the chlorine level of your pool and eliminate problems associated with periods of very high or low chlorine levels. Fewer fluctuations in chlorine levels mean fewer fluctuations in pH levels. This adds up to more stable, balanced water.

Consistently maintained sanitiser levels in the pool water will prevent the growth of all common algae. A salt-water chlorinated pool requires much less attention than a chlorine pool.

A salt water pool provides a more comfortable swimming environment. Salt water feels better and is less irritating to the body than standard chlorinated water. The amount of salt required varies from 4000ppm to 6500ppm. In comparison, a teardrop contains about 7,200 ppm and ocean water about 36,000 ppm.

ElectroChlor

Electrochlor is Swimart’s top of the range salt chlorinator.

Electrochlor continually monitors its chlorine production and the pool's salt level, displaying vital statistics via its backlit LCD panel. The chlorinator’s advanced timer allows you to programme the chlorinator to suit your lifestyle. For example, you can select extra chlorination during weekends or lower chlorination during the week. Super chlorination is available at a press of a button, and an in built pump protection program safeguards the operation of the pool pump.

Zodiac Chlorinators

The Zodiac LM3 salt water chlorinator allows you to set and forget your level of chlorine output. For periods of heavy Pool use or extreme temperatures, one press of the Super Chlorinate button will boost chlorine output, keeping your pool sanitised simple. The LM3 will automatically adjust itself back to pre-set levels after 24 hours.

Chemflo

Chemflo automatic control systems measure and precisely control set levels of sanitiser (chlorine) and pH balance (acid) through feedback from inline sensors. Costs are reduced by minimising chemical use and preventing excessive addition of chemicals that may damage the pool and its equipment.

Power requirements are minimal. Chemflo’s control systems only operate occasionally to adjust ORP and pH levels to an optimal set point. Chemflo pumps can easily cope with sudden demands, dosing liquid chlorine quickly during high pool usage.
